Michelle Anderson is an experienced digital and marketing senior executive who took up the role of Chief Digital Officer at The Warehouse Group in May 2018. Michelle’s areas of responsibility for the group are media planning and buying, marketing automation, data science and customer insights, eCommerce trading and customer engagement (contact centres).
Previously Michelle was Executive General Manager Data – Group, and Executive General Manager Marketing for The Warehouse and Warehouse Stationery. In her role leading the marketing and data teams, she was responsible for driving strategic and tactical marketing objectives and the development and delivery of The Warehouse Group data strategy including technology and team capability with a focus on governance, data platform, advanced analytics and personalisation.
Michelle is focused on customer experience and how organisations can use digital to deliver business results and innovate in the rapidly evolving consumer and media landscape.
She was a 2018 finalist for TVNZ- NZ Marketing Awards, ‘Marketer of the Year’, 2018 Winner Retail Category in the TVNZ NZ Marketing Awards for 'The Warehouse - Delivering Better Value Everyday' campaign and recognised in the 2019 CIO Top50.
